The building is focused on eco-sustainable concepts and designed with the most advanced technologies for load bearing timber structures , providing an excellent relationship between the seismic efficiency, excellent thermo- hygrometric behavior of the housing and cost of managing and maintaining content, therefore responding to the logic of economic sustainability. The manufacturing technology has made it possible articulation of the facades capable of responding to different aesthetic needs, the result of which is that of a contemporary building but able to communicate with the formal tradition of the village of Onna.
Resstende participated in this important project by providing locals with their own sun screens, both interior and outdoor applications : 53 sunscreens, exclusive design and high technical content.
The designer Angelo Furia has developed the Boston system to fit the architectural needs of Onna House. Other models of shields, chosen based on the orientation of the façades, were used to make the best use of natural light to create a feeling of brightness and whiteness and to contribute to save energy.
