The Design for All project …ma così è la vita! was presented at Triennale di Milano and is devoted to Huntington’s Disease. Among the initiatives, it was organized a Junior Design Contest U35, a Design for All contest which addresses young, under 35 years old, designers, created and developed by AICH Milano Onlus and Human Design Award. Deadline November 3rd , 2016.
This initiative aims to answer to Huntington’s Disease patients needs, related to this rare, genetic and neurodegenerative Syndrome. A therapy doesn’t exist yet, but we can manage through design to help families and patients while dealing with everyday issues.
The logo, designed by Roberto Ghioni, represents the elements of the famous “Smile” presented as an assembling kit to create new real smiles.
To participate it’s necessary to be an Italian resident designer or to be a student at one of Italian Design Schools and to be under the age of 35 (born after 2nd November 1980). Designers groups are welcome to participate, under the condition of nominating a contact person, the only representative while dealing with AICH Milano Onlus. Projects have to be unpublished and originally developed for the contest.
