Design City Milano, the event that stirs up the vibrating energy of design, was chosen by Dieffebi for the opening of this strategic Milan location with a cutting edge round table about Hybrid Office Design. Architect Cesare Chichi (967 Studio) explains the inspiring concepts of the interior design.
The opening of the Milan showroom in the Brera Design District marks a major advance in the history of Dieffebi, and goes beyond the mere celebration of its 40th anniversary; they could not miss the chance of a space in Brera where the identity of a “tailor made” company oriented to top-quality design and innovation would be fully enhanced.
The space peculiarities (140 smq with two windows facing on via Milazzo) have suggested a subdivision into three areas expressing the potential uses of products in different environments.
“The first area is the ‘showcase’ intended for communication and creativity, it is an open, flexible and reconfigurable area for meetings, temporary settings and events.
The second one stands out for a more homely ambience while, it is the “hospitality place” for meeting and networking.
The third one is an actual office, equipped with desks and storage units, to be used as the company’s branch office.
At the rear, dark grey curtains define the support area with kitchenette.
The neutral colours -white and a palette of greys- chosen for the shell allow maximum freedom in fitting out the shop to display collections that are each time offered in several colours.
Orange, the corporate colour of Dieffebi, was chosen fo the seat-drawers and for the details of the big pictures that show the evergreen products.
