An internal frame, or in this case it may be better saying “a meatball”, of wood and steel with a flexible polyurethane foam in different density, covered by a fabric or a leather upholstery in different colors.
These are the ingredients of Polpetta, the new armchair designed by Favaretto and Partners Studio for Estel. A perfect choice for different spaces and contexts: living, contract, as well as offices.
It all started with the Polpetta M( medium size 86 cm ), then keeping the same comfort and aesthetics, Estel decided to produce a famiily of products with a dynamic set of qualities which for their positioning can be used in different environments. Therefore Polpetta S (small size 73 cm) and Polpetta L ( a two-seated sofa size1600 cm ) were born, too.
As the name itself says, these chairs have a compact shape, with a thick seated and back filled with different density of polyurethane to grant extreme comfort.
The seat, back and arms are independent of each other, in order to be upholstered and assembled in different ways and to be adaptable to different contexts.
