On the occasion of 150th anniversary, Genoa dedicates to Much the first, big event outside the Norwegian boundaries and most ironically Knauf drew inspiration from the his most popular painting – The Howl – to convey the effectiveness ot its soundproofing system vividly.
In the wide inner court of Palazzo Ducale, an installation made by sound absorbent materials accommodates the plaster version of the painting (made by the artist Cesare Inzerillo), but the Howl is “soundproofed”.
A new valid way of reationship between Industry and Art. Definitely, an original way to broach the acoustics theme!
