Strong presence of CUF Milano at Milano Design Week 2021: green-oriented debut at the supersalone (Hall 3, lane F26) with an original “botanical” installation and a networking and fun evening in the showroom in via Rosales 5 with the Archi Torneo of Table Football organized with RS Barcelona (Spanish company producer of gaming tables) on 6 September at 6 pm.
For several years CUF Milano, the design brand of Centrufficio, has been committed to a more sustainable future.
One of the concrete applications of this mission is the collaboration with architect Matteo Silverio and with the two startups Krill Design and Vitesy, in response to the Call4Solutions, launched by the Open Innovation HiHack program (founding initiative of the DesignTech Hub at MIND) to create new synergies and quickly identify design solutions for a safe return to post covid-19 workplaces.
This partnership has led to an eco-sustainable reinterpretation of the award-winning Fusion furniture system (designed by John Bennett and Sakura Adachi) which includes new construction measures linked to circular economy models and environmental wellbeing and also the use of natural materials for limit harmful emissions and green partitions, produced by Krill Design using a bioplastic made with coffee waste.
These walls, in addition to immersing the worker in a small “indoor jungle“, allow to purify the air thanks to the Natede system developed by Vitesy.
Fusion Green will be presented at supersalone by Salone del Mobile.Milano, in a cutting edge configuration with a long table housing various botanical compositions.
The worktop will be delimited by the FEI free standing sound-absorbing and decorative double-sided panel, in 100% polyester fiber, totally recyclable, produced by reusing plastic bottles.
The rhomboidal Shape panels are also sound-absorbing, defining the background wall with an unprecedented macro-camouflage design.
