Half century is an important milestone for the family-run company Manerba, founded in Mantua in 1969, managed by Elisa and Grazia Manerba, persevering and competent sisters, with their mother Federica Quintarelli and Sergio Manerba, President and Founder.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the creative direction has been entrusted to the young designer Federica Biasi, who is working on the website and the new image for next Salone del Mobile.
The vision of ”beautiful and well done” and the passion for innovation of the founders inspired the concept of Evolving Offices, to read into the radical changes in the ways of working and living and cultural transformations over the last 5 decades.
Therefore Manerba has proposed human centered, emotional, domestic and flexible workplaces featured by constant evolution and expression of balance of female aesthetic and functionalism.
The Manerba’s first 50 years look to the future!
In fact the creative direction of the company was entrusted to the thirty year old designer Federica Biasi, an Italian with international experience, who lived and worked in the Netherlands, absorbing the most innovative trends and values of Nordic design.
Federica will developing the Manerba’a identity focused on attention to design, detail, research, materials and colors.
This “Millennial” will work on the concept of “total office” bringing energy and freshness into future projects designed for new collaborative workstyles.
The strong improvement of the company will also supported by Philippe Nigro, another cosmopolitan designer who is working on design of new products.
