The meeting “New British Inventors: Inventions in design” organized by British Council at Base Milano will explore the catalysts for invention in design in the UK and Italy.
An afternoon of talks and discussion chaired by Marco Sammicheli with a special focus on cross-disciplinary collaboration, risk-taking and research.
Through the discussion the audience will discover what it takes to produce truly innovative work, the design and policy landscapes in Italy and the UK, the impacts of design innovation and how government and other institutions can support its creation.
Among th speakers: Giorgio Biscaro, Hugh Broughton, Enrica Cavarzan, Oluwaseyi Sosanya and Annie Warburton.
The event is part of the XXI Triennale di Milano; the venue is Base Milano, via Bergognone.
