The pre-Salone frenzy has already infected everybody, that unique and beyond description energy, actually still nameless (i Saloni? Salone del Mobile? Milano Design Week? Fuorisalone?) because of its many identities, has already been in the air for weeks. Every year the rite keeps happening and can involve professional people and outsiders of all ages, everywhere in town.
It’s not just a chance to do business, but an urban, cultural and social phenomenon. Even the institutions have realized that and take now part in it and invest in projects for the promotion of design.
In even-numbered years, no Salone Ufficio in Milan, still there will be surprises for the “Office Community”, dedicated events, moments and meeting places to redesign new scenarios for the future of rooms meant for new Ways Of Working.
At Salone del Mobile Caimi Brevetti will presented the new acoustic system by Philippe Nigro.
The FuoriSalone will show other news, too.
The focus is on the chief event, Scandinative Workplace by Kinnarps that will show its new concepts for worplace in an installation by Luca Nichetto at Pelota.
High expectations also for the proposals coming from the exuberant Lago, focused on the philosophy “to improve your interior life” .
Sacea reproposes, at Ordine degli Architetti Milano in via Solferino, Recharging Zone to be considered as an effective coworking model suitable for many town districts.
The Coworking Network will offer several initiatives. Free coworking and free wi-fi at Cowo for Ventura Lambrate visitors.
In Ventura District will open Jamko a new coworking place for creative workers and artisans (furnished by Emme Italia). The coworking Piano C will organize a conference to discuss the Italian new law about smart working.
Another focal point is at the Caselli of Porta Garibaldi, where Tecno will present a new partition system during the event “Tra Arte e Tecno” curated by Lissoni (opening 7th April 18,30) the venue for more events.
Also, an evening at Sagsa (9th april at 19) named “Contract: design for Home & office” … with polenta.
On April 10th (from 5 pm to 11pm) Ares Line celebrates the beginning of its cooperation with Quinze & Milan cult brand of design founded in 1999 by the belgian artists Arne Quinze and Yves Milan, designers of several iconic pieces of furniture.
And still on April 10th (at 6pm) at US49 via Ettore Ponti 49 will presented the book about 5+1 AA ( Alfonso femia e Gianluca Peluffo) published by Marsilio.
To round off the evening of the 10th at the Mesopotamia Milanese, nothing is better than the big party “Vento nei Salici” thrown by Lombardini22, a sensory experience full of green thinking that tries to harmonize architecture and nature.
