Biosphera Equilibrium is a mobile and technologically advanced unit, equipped as a home or office, able to regenerate body and mind recreating the effects of the natural environment. Technology and nature are in perfect balance in this project presented in Milan during the Fall Design Week and enriched by a conference that touched all aspects of wellbeing. The road tour will continue in 12 other cities in Europe.
Biosphera Project is an advanced mobile building unit with high energy, environmental, biophilic and physical performances; an applied research laboratory to test in a scientific way how people react in confined environments – where we spend about 65/70% of our life – and how the most advanced technologies can be implemented in new buildings or renovations to create environments able to respond to the needs of our body, to regenerate and reduce stress, generating well-being.
Nature and technology are not antithetical in this project characterized by an innovative approach that allows to measure through scientific evidence how a properly designed and constructed environment affects the human body, the reduction of stress and the ability to learn.
Can a built environment generate happiness? This question is ambitiously answered by Biosphera Equilibrium.
