Till the 11th of October the exhibition “il linguaggio universale del design italiano” (The universal language of the italian design) by Compasso d’Oro ADI will show the XXIII edition prize-winning products along with a selection of 60 years of history of the Prize since 1954, at the MAC, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, of Lima.
“Il linguaggio del design italiano”, sponsored by the italian foreign ministry and ICE, in collaboration with ADI, is part of the Italian Year in Latin American, a series of events involving different south american countries aiming to show the best examples of the italian culture and production, of which design represent one of the best expression.
The exhibition, coordinated by Giovanni Talocci, staged by Luisa Bocchietto and with the graphic coordination by Andrea Rovati, opened the last 18th August with the aim to underline how the design language, and in particular the italian one, can be universally understandable and admirable, and how it can also be used to strengthen international cultural and industrial relationship.
During the event several meetings will take place with designers, researchers, students and producers, as Luisa Bocchietto, Alex Terzariol (ADI’s executive committee), Enzo Calabrese ( 2014 Compasso d’Oro winner with Sampei lamp) and Luca Casarini (Ferrari’s style center).
The exhibition will continue from the 19th November to the 8th December in Colombia, at the Universisad de Los Andes in Bogotà.
