Tecno celebrates the 30th anniversary of Nomos.
Tecno celebrates the 30th anniversary of Nomos, a true icon of design that -three decades of advance- overcame the boundaries between office and home. Nomos, designed by Norman Foster, is the system of tables and desks that revolutionized the concept of table and desk.
It is celebrated in the Tecno showroom at the caselli daziari, Piazza XXV Aprile, from 17 to 22 April.

USM: Too much HomeWork, not enough play?
In 2017 the UNStudio Futures team was commissioned by USM to explore changes taking place within the world of work. As a result, for Salone del Mobile (Hall 20, booth A07/B06) was developed their ‘HomeWork’ concept: a theatrical installation to reflect shifting boundaries between work and domesticity, both now and in the future.
USM is also present at “Swiss Design District” in via Tortona 31.
DVO: new showroom, Enzo Berti collections and workshops with IUAV.
DVO (Della Valentina Office) inaugurates a new showroom during the Milano Design Week. It is called Learning + Innovation Center, a new space to display new collections for office and home office, including the new Milo office system and Noto table collection, both designed by Enzo Berti.
DVO also wonders about how office world is changing and offers the results of the workshop “The Future Office” conducted with the students of the IUAV University of Venice with the tutorship of the designers Diego Paccagnella and Cesare Bizzotto.

Which will be the best installation of the Milan Design Week 2018?
Milano Design Award, created by Elita and Fuorisalone, will award the best installations among more than 1500 planned for the Milano Design Week 2018.
It is sponsored by IED and Hyundai and supported by the main circuits and official projects of the Fuorisalone (5vie, Art + Design, Asia Design Pavilion, Brera Design District, IN / BOVISA, Milan Space Makers, Porta Venezia in design, Superstudio Più, Tortona Design Week, Triennale di Milano, Ventura Centrale, Ventura Future and Zona Sant’Ambrogio) The aim of the award is to reward the uniqueness of the experience offered to visitors, identifying trends and highlighting new socio-cultural phenomena.
On April 19, the prestigious Sleipnir Troll wooden horses will be delivered directly to the winners’ locations.
