Leyton is a multinational company focused on maximizing innovation potential of the organizations and a fast-growing startup in Italy.
After an initial development phase within Copernico coworking, they decided to set up their own headquarters in Milan.
Around Studio, in charge of the project, has created a workplace that embodies the brand identity and the company’s vision: sustainability, talent and innovation have found a home in the LEED Platinum building in Via Melchiorre Gioia 26.
The main elements of the design concept are clearly identifiable in this lively, welcoming and domestic environment, which acts as a frame for a vibrant activity and which manages to combine personal interaction with concentration.
In the 700 square meters of the headquarters, in addition to the 57 workstations, there are also support areas for each activity, large and small meeting rooms, and also spaces designed for one-to-one, short and informal meetings.
The heart of the space is a great break area, a convivial place for breaks but also for meeting and regeneration.
The color design balances neutral beige and gray colors with orange accents, corporate color, proposed with an attractive graphic look.
Special attention was paid to acoustics: Snowsound sound-absorbing hung panels by Caimi Brevetti (Giotto model) in the open plan areas and meeting rooms are an excellent solution both from a technical and decorative point of view.
Thanks to the integrated design management by Around Studio and the professionalism in refurbishing (by Base Interiors) time and cost were respected, with full satisfaction of the client.
As the statement by Michael Lagarde, General Manager, proofs: “A job characterized by ‘professionalism’. Despite the in-progress changes, the designers have been able to meet us to satisfy all our needs. The high level expertise has always been in line with our needs, too.
A lot of patience in facing our daily doubts about furnishing a space we wanted as our own ‘second home’.
We hope to replicate the branding concept in all future Italian branches of the group. Punctual and precise delivery and perfect assembling led to a result beyond our expectations.”
