Herman Miller’s latest collaboration with Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, the OE1 Workspace Collection, is now available to view and test in the company’s Milan showroom on Corso Garibaldi.
The new furniture collection designed by Industrial Facility was launched in the US last Spring, but is now available to order across Europe.
OE1 was designed to be deliberately not a traditional system-based product. Designer Sam Hecht says “It’s more like a pick-and-mix. Everything is having a conversation with each other, and the conversation is healthy.”
The set-up in Milan offers shared benches and clusters of height-adjustable tables, as well as touch-down workstations. The settings are enriched by numerous accessories and multifunctional components including screens whiteboards and bookcases.
OE1 is proposed with a minimalist colour palette of white, black and grey which can be mixed with new colours of Glacier, Canyon, Nightfall and Olive to create an attractive workspace.
