Stem, as the name suggests, can sprout in the most surprising ways. Much more than a simple bookcase, it is a micro-architecture, a system that can grow endlessly and assume different appearances to respond to various functions with great refinement in the details, because elegance is the Philippe Nigro’s stylistic code.
The designer has actually started a collaboration with Manerba, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the company.
Optimizing space and feeling good inside was the first goal of Stem, but thanks to the incredible number of variants and possible combinations this furniture system is able to respond to many different functions and to assume various moods; it is able both to furnish and personalize the environment.
The Stem structure, variable according to the number and heights of the uprights and shelves in solid oak wood, joined by horizontal crosspieces in polished or painted aluminum, can be dressed with various accessories.
For example open or closed containers –matt lacquered in many colors or with doors fabric- covered, small desks, drawers and chests of drawers, wardrobes, benches, partition panels and sound-absorbing panels.
