During Milan Design Week everything is possible! Thus, at the bustling Zona Tortona, fashion meets design in the Strenesse’s model parade: the showroom of the well-known clothing brand in via Savona offered a stylish and exclusive set to show the seating by Wagner.
Among these the iconic D1, designed by Stefan Diez, also protagonist of the “Sit in movement” installation at Archiproducts.
Fashion met design in a stylish atmosphere in Milan’s Strenesse Showroom, during the exclusive “Fashion-Interior-Cocktails” party and the “Move your Life” fashion show where the seating collections by the German brand Wagner were on the catwalk together with the 2019 clothing collections.
“I look forward to developing the many possibilities that will arise from our cooperation with Strenesse” says Peter Wagner, design and marketing manager at Wagner.
The latest trends in fashion and seating design are under the spotlight, including the W2020 stools, the W1970 chairs and the D1 swivel chair collection by Stefan Diez, which combine aesthetics, innovative materials and dynamic ergonomics.
The steel tube creates the structure of the seat-back in mesh that adapts dynamically to the user’s position. The designer has in fact worked with Wagner to enhance the patented seat joint Dondola, which allows three-dimensional movement, carrying it into the D1 family chairs that includes low chairs and armchairs with and without armrests.
W-1970 chair is also very cool, it is a redesign of the classic 70s kitchen chair. The collection combines wood and steel; the seat and backrest are mounted separately on a Dondola joint to offer a unique seating experience.
W2020 stool is slender but stable, truly glamorous in the two-colored version with wooden legs; to be even more comfortable, it is equipped with the Dondola + mechanism which allows lateral seat oscillation.
In the Tortona area, a few steps away, the D1 chair collection by Wagner also attend another interior design installation at the Archiproducts location.
In 2018 the D1 chair collection by Wagner has been awarded German Innovation Award (Gold) and Red Dot Award (best of the best).
