The exclusive party titled “La Dolce Vita“, amid trophies of sweets and warm notes of blues, inaugurated the new showroom overlooking the park of Palazzo Bocconi in Milan.
The Lorenzo and Massimo Comoletti brothers – respectively CEO at Eco Contract and Eco Design, exclusive dealers of leading companies in the textile and technical flooring sector – have chosen a corner of paradise at corso Venezia 48, hidden among ancient trees, to meet their customers.
Located right in front of the Planetarium, Palazzo Bocconi is one of the symbols of the Milanese bourgeoisie new social role at the end of the 1800s. Designed by the architect and marquis Antonio Citterio, it maintains the elegance of its eclectic façade and the rococo interiors.
But the real surprise is the park. And the windows of the new showroom are facing on this hidden jewel. Here Eco Contract + Eco Design will meet architects and customers.
The 600 square meters of the new showroom is located on the ground floor of the east wing of the building; unused for some time now it comes back to life thanks to a total refurbishing that also enhances the plant made up of intercommunicating rooms.
To answer to designers needs, each room is dedicated to a specific typology of material: high-tech textiles, curtains and coverings, resilient floors, carpets, eco-wood, parquet.
There are also experimental pieces of furniture that Comoletti have developed in a creative relationship with some of the most important designers.
They are surfaces and materials conceived like artworks, but following a production philosophy environmental certified with ISO 14001 and EMAS certifications.
The sweetness and the elegance of the superlative party opened the new showroom and closed the Milan Design Week 2019.
