
trivago, the largest hotel search and information website worldwide, was founded in 2005 in Düsseldorf (Germany) where is located its headquarter. A few days ago the offices have moved to the the new Sky Office Building. Raum.atelier has designed the Urban-Vintage style new offices creating a “trivago Campus” based on work-life balance culture.
The architects Verena Hasiewizc and Marleen Goldemann-Sabbak of Raum.atelier have designed the workplaces of this young, dynamic and international company developing develop the idea of a “trivago Campus” furnished with everything it would be possible to find in an urban environment (for example soccer stadium, park, classroom, laundromat).
The new offices are located on three floors (2700 sqm); the workplace includes open spaces, conference rooms, think thanks closed by glass partition walls for privacy and concentration; kitchen and break areas for socialization and other spaces for entertainment and relax (a yoga room, too).
The employee is encouraged to think outside the box on a daily basis. Creativity and innovation are highly valued. These attributes are enhanced by a smart working organization and creating a working environment that is informal, friendly, authentic and flexible.
