Like all public parks in Italy, the Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano (BAM) was inaccessible since two months ago, in compliance with the provisions of the Government’s Decree for the corona virus emergency.
But on May 4 the Phase 2 starts and the Fondazione Riccardo Catella gives the greenery the task of communicating the need for collaboration to “return to living public spaces with the renewed and reinvigorated common civic sense that will allow us to preserve them with care“.
HWStyle who has taken care of the maintenance of the BAM, yesterday wrote words and drew hearts in the grass to carry out this project: now more than ever it is important to communicate positive messages.
Milan is ready to leave and also its BAM-Biblioteca degli Alberi (Library of Trees), as confirmed by the motto We Are BAM!
After activating a digital program to bring the culture of nature to everyone’s homes during an emergency, now BAM gives the Milanese the embrace of nature which, we hope, will be ever stronger and more luxuriant.
“I believe the period we are living will lead us to reflect on the concept of scarcity, also in relation to the natural resources of our land.
I hope that the moments of reflection that we have spent in our isolation allow us to enhance relationships with others and to contribute to a path of greater tolerance and inclusiveness that allows us together to face all the challenges in this increasingly connected world.” declares Kelly Russell Catella, general director of the Fondazione Riccardo Catella, an institution always committed to sustainable development policies.
