Audrey by CUF Milano (conceived by Progetto CMR) is a sofa family that turns into cocoons thanks to the bifunctional backrest.
The most original feature is the backrest that can be lifted with a simple gesture, just as the collar of a shirt, to respond to the user’s need for more privacy.
Audrey met with great success Dubai and Moscow and we will see it again at Salone del Mobile and All Around Work in Milan, together with new cutting edge products.
In 2020 we will see soon, for the first time CUF’s #madeinmilano design concept at Workspace Expo in Paris, Salone del Mobile, and All Around Work in Milan with amazing previews, but it has already won over audiences at “Middle East Design & Hospitality Week 2019” in Dubai and “I Saloni di Milano” in Moscow, following the launch at Orgatec 2018.
Together with other workplace products (among them Fusion System, recently awarded by German Design Awards 2020) the solution by CUF Milano include furnishing for in-between areas: in particular Audrey a sofa family for lounge and waiting area designed in collaboration with Progetto CMR.
Actually Flexibility is the key word of the contemporary workplace and the #madeinmilano concept represents a prompt answer to the user’s need to adapt, on demand and in real time, the degree of privacy of his own workplace.
On the other hand, according to need, the soft shell, which in the high version increases the sound absorbing performances, can be easily folded to become more compact.
Audrey is flexible and hide a complex mechanism while maintaining the elegant simplicity and glamour of the 1960s, as its name evokes.
The Audrey family, includes one or two seats sofas, both low or high version.
The integration of wiring and a worktop that rotates in two positions transforms the seat into a smart workstation. Tables in 3 variants contribute to the creation of small lounges or tops for meetings; the media wall completes the family.
Audrey will certainly win the soul at the next fairs in April, particularly sensitive to charm, even in design.
