The refined setting of the Signature Kitchen Suite showroom,in Milan, will host the first edition of “Cooking is Real” on 1 July 2021, a cooking game promoted by Interface, a leading company in the production of sustainable floors.
Architects and SGR managers will be judged in their culinary performances by well-known names in the Real Estate. Password: sustainability.
The target? Bringing together the art of design and the knowledge of real estate development in a game context to be played in the kitchen, the most convivial place par excellence.
Four teams made up of three architects and an asset manager / fund manager SGR, under the guidance of chef Andrea Vigna, Food Experience Director of Signature Kitchen Suite, will compete by offering each one a dish – an appetizer, a first, a second and a dessert – which will have to reinterpret fundamental themes of contemporary and sustainable real estate in a creative way.
Space Planning for the starter,
Circular Design for the first,
Masterplan for the second,
Infrastructure for the dessert.
A jury made up of representatives of Real estate will judge them choosing the dish that will best have elaborated the theme attributed by conception, choice of raw materials, execution, serving and pairing of flavors.
The architects will design the plate, while the SGR manager will take care of the shopping. On the evening of the event, the brigade will each have to cook and present their own creation.
An innovative event that has already gathered important sponsors around it: the technical sponsors, Interface and Signature Kitchen Suite, but also prestigious food & beverage companies such as NaturaSì and Maison Ruinart, with the collaboration of Lutron and Sedus.
