Thinking about the new housing models – increasingly widespread during the pandemic – combining home and work in a hybrid area called the home office, CUF Milano has re-examined the current meaning of some conventional spaces such as kitchen, bedroom, living room.
And these conventional spaces become unconventional thanks to interior design solutions where the smart working corner is harmoniously accommodated into domestic contexts, offering comfort.
Today, urban housing is a fluid space, a mix of activities and relationships. Don’t be surprised if an ergonomic office corner can be created even in the kitchen!
The furnishings chosen by CUF Milano for these settings suggest customizable home office corners to meet all needs, even in small spaces.
Living room setting.
The protagonist of this vibrant living environment is Fusion desk, the basic element of an articulated “three-dimensional” office system (designed by John Bennett and Sakura Adachi), winner of the German Design Award and the Archiproduct Award.
The versatility and range of colors and finishes characterizing this system make it perfect at home.
The techno-urban mood is emphasized by the Diana task chair with a mesh backrest equipped with lumbar support and height-adjustable armrests.
Bedroom Setting.
Soft colors and essential lines have been chosen for the rest room… where sometimes we have to work, too.
The sober and geometric shapes of the desk of the Ring system (design Luigi Glorini with R&S CUF Milano) harmonize with any style of furniture.
The metal “square frame” legs confer elegance and stability. The table is equipped with a drawer unit.
The standard finishes and ready for delivery are white, dove gray and oak, but further 19 finishes are possible on request.
The Girasole armchair has soft lines and is equipped with oscillation and height adjustment mechanisms and is also available with an integrated headrest perfect for relaxation.
Kitchen setting.
Wellness @ work also in the kitchen thanks to the Doria Easy Up sit-stand table (design Luigi Glorini with R&S CUF Milano). It is a height-adjustable desk with electrified movement (elevation h. 68/118 cm); it has a minimal structure in white metal tubing and melamine top, available for immediate delivery in three colors (oak, white, dove-gray) and other 19 colors on request.
The desk is flanked by the Cube bookcase with open compartments and closed containers equipped with doors with push-pull opening system.
The lively blue tone is the trait-d’union between office and dining room: present in the containers it is also taken up by the Rem armchair – with height and swing adjustment mechanisms – and by the Iris upholstered armchairs around the table with ash wood base matching the kitchen finishing (Rem and Iris are available in many other variations of materials and bases).
