Born a few months ago, it is already on its way to becoming a reference point for those looking for advanced solutions in the office world. The new brand CUF Milano is now opening a prestigious showroom in via Rosales 3/5 in the heart of Milan, established capital of design worldwide. Above all it is the crowning of a dream made by Roberto Motti, founder and CEO of Centrufficio Loreto: a dream to broaden their horizons to international development, to reach a wider audience, today increasingly informed and demanding.
It’s been over 30 years since the opening of the first multibrand in Piazzale Loreto that revolutionized the industry by offering prompt delivery, free design and a wide choice of collections. After an unstoppable expansion with 20 showrooms throughout Italy, 5 logistics and 3 productive centres, Centrufficio Loreto is creating a spin-off completing their offer with new product lines, and opening a new showroom taking into account the great aesthetic and functional changes occurring in office design.
Following its debut at Orgatec, CUF Milano will be presented in Milan during the design week, inaugurating its first showroom right next to Porta Nuova, near Piazza Gae Aulenti, the new gathering spot in Milan, and close to Corso Como, the most innovative and international shopping street.
“Milan is our city and we owe much to it. It is also the capital of design and good taste in the world, there is no better address to launch CUF Milano and the new challenges lying ahead towards internationalization” said Roberto Motti. “CUF Milano wants to become a meeting point for design #madeinmilano enthusiasts who are looking for authentic products, both innovative and high-quality because made by designers born in Milan or with headquarters in Milan, engineered and manufactured at our offices and settlements in the hinterland of Milan”.
CUF Milano opens its permanent exhibition space with new collections designed in collaboration with the most prominent designers in office design and contract fields: Daniele Lo Scalzo Moscheri, John Bennett / Sakura Adachi and Progetto CMR, and important partners such as Archiutti, Flos, Humanscale, Walter Knoll and Sedus.
360 m² span two large open spaces opening directly onto a private courtyard, redesigned by architect Paola Ripamonti, in collaboration with Walter Knoll designers, as environments displaying a new design philosophy ranging from classic office space to smart working. A path of working solutions and lifestyles, including precious surfaces, simple shapes and balanced proportions reflecting the soul and substance of CUF Milano’s products.
The materials used are the latest generation laminates or woods with low emission of formaldehyde, dividing walls, stained glass and textile solutions for soundproofing. All with a focus on sustainability and natural elements.
The showroom includes three major areas: executive, operative and outdoor.
The executive one is furnished with executives by Walter Knoll and “Magenta” and “Victory” lines designed by Daniele Lo Scalzo Moscheri for CUF Milano, and also include two lounges, including one designed with an eye for acoustic effects in order to make the space even more comfortable.
In the operative area can be found the Seventy Seven by Progetto CMR, ideal for highly technical environments such as architect or design studios, and “Fusion” by John Bennett and Sakura Adachi, for more informal places where all areas of an office, like lounge, relax, operative and meetings, combine to create a unique multipurpose space.
And the “outdoor office” is equipped with outdoor furniture by Vondom.
Completing the layouts, ergonomic seats by Sedus, iconic lights by Flos and ergonomic complements by Humanscale.
The services offered by CUF Milano are designing and free consultation, customization on demand, delivery and installation worldwide and “turnkey” of custom-made environments, starting from the system, to the materials for ceilings and floors, up to the customization of every single detail like multimedia solutions, textile complements and green.
