Is it possible to get good design solutions to meet the new regulations on physical distancing – better than social distancing! – imposed by the corona virus emergency? Caimi Brevetti accepts this challenge and his answer does not include the usual, distant “barriers”.

As the name suggests, the common thread is certainly Design, but all Caimi Brevetti’s proposals are also based on the prompt application of technology at the service of people.
Caimi Safe Design solutions include various models of screens, designed to divide without being intrusive.
Objects with neutral lines and attention to every detail, designed to harmoniously fit into public environments (not only offices but also, restaurants, shops, hotels).
These advanced screens are characterized by the simplicity of reconfiguration; very easy maintenance and movement according to requirements is provided.
The hygienic-sanitary performance is added to physical separation thanks to the choice of materials, all easily washable and sanitizable.
In particular, Sepa, Sepa Rolls and Battista collections provide for the innovative use of the special Bioactive sound-absorbing fabric.
So, while reducing the acoustic reverberation, it avoids the proliferation of bacteria thanks to the action of the silver ions which make it bacteriostatic.
The sustainability and indoor quality – other strengths of Caimi Brevetti – were considered: for transparent or satin-finished screens, polycarbonate is used, a 100% recyclable material, as well as the Bioactive fabric which is also certified Gold by Greenguard for its low VOC characteristics.
Arianna (design Caimi Lab)
A modular system with flexible partitions transparent or satin polycarbonate (100% recyclable).
Panels are attached to the posts with either screws or special magnetic fasteners that make it easy to quickly install/remove the panel. Powder-coated steel bases and steel rod uprights available in mat white or silver grey.
Battista (design Michele De Lucchi con Sezgin Aksu)
The upper part of the supporting columns is finished in polished aluminium, connections of crosspieces and connecting crosspiences in chrome-plated steel, upright in steel tube, base in cast iron, both epoxy painted.
The drapes are made with soundproofing fabric Snowsound Fiber 1 bacteriostatic and can be removed for washing.
Sepa Rolls (design Sezgin Aksu).
Sound absorbing dividers made with Snowsound Fiber 1 bacteriostatic fabrics and chromed tubular steel structures mounted on a single tubular base that allows you to juxtapose several dividers in line or creating a corner. The base is equipped with wheels located at the ends that allow easy movement. The drapes can be easily removed for washing.
Bioactive fabric
Bioactive sound absorbing fabric with silver ions with permanent antimicrobial effect made entirely of polyester.
The fabric has Class 1 Italy reaction to fire and Euroclass B-s2, d0.
The fabric is Greenguard Gold certified, which validates its characteristics of low emission of VOCs and its contribution to the quality of the indoor environment.
It is 100% recyclable and has a formaldehyde content not detectable according to UNI EN 717-2, does not contain felt or other materials of organic origin difficult to recycle.
