Fostering a lighting engineering focused on the wellbeing of the people. This is the goal of the contest “The bright light” power by Aura Light Italia in collaboration with IACC Italia (International Association of Colour Consultants). The contest is open to all creative talent aged between 18 and 30 years with the aim to design an enjoyable working environment through the use of color and light. The award ceremony will take place during the event Design+Sensibile at Fuorisalone in Milan. The registration deadline is 10th March.
“Even today there is a general view that light is just to see and this means undervaluing its impact of the wellbeing and the health of the people”, says Massimo Caiazzo, IACC vice-president, presenting the design contest “The bright light” that will be part of the Fuorisalone 2019’s event Design+Sensibile.
“In most offices, hospitals, schools a wrong chromatic and lighting environment produces physiological and psychological side effects like headaches, irritability, tiredness. IACC Italia insists on the need of humanizing design, fostering a new role for light and color”.
Design+Sensibile takes inspiration from the need to consider aesthetics a direct consequence of ethics and will stage several events based on the goal to design a visual ergonomics as a mean to a healthy environment.
