This year the Milan Design Week -for the office sector, too – has considerably “expanded”, as confirmed by the Biosphera Office conference (which takes place on 4th April) and the installation in Piazza Beccaria which continues every day until 18 April.

The evolution of the office concept and its applications in Italy and abroad will be the theme of the talk moderated by Renata Sias; the speakers André Straja and Giacomo Sicuro (Gas Studio) together with Alessandro Dalla Pozza and Alberto Stella (Estel) will propose possible answers to the new needs of the new Ways of Working. Lombardini22: Foresight
Launch of an innovative format that explores the most flourishing ideas of the contemporary world, to bring new life to the Real Estate.
Marisa Albanese is guest artist of the event with a suspended installation that explores the current themes of travel and migration, bringing into play the boundaries of one’s gaze and transforming space into a “double sky”.

Universal Selecta: Chakra 7.27 The Moon Codex
The installation curated by AF517 by Alfonso Femia, evokes a special night 50 years ago: the first step of man on the moon. Floating scenarios recall the orbits of the pod. Discovering Chakra pod, a new territory to explore.

Herman Miller: All Together Now.
Total restyling of the Herman Miller showroom you can see it as you’ve never seen it before. This year, it is hosting All Together Now, an exhibition that celebrates the nearly endless design possibilities from across the Herman Miller Group’s family of brands. The exhibition includes products from Herman Miller, Colebrook Bosson Saunders, Design Within Reach, Geiger, HAY, Maars Living Walls, Maharam, naughtone, and Nemschoff.

Design+Sensibile: Physiological effects of the light

Even today, people think that the light is necessary only “to watch” and for this, they underestimate the quality at the source, without thinking about the consequences of people health and wellness.
