The city in the offices and the city offices also in terms of design. Interface brings to the NY + LON Streets textile flooring collection an ideal journey between New York and London, with textures inspired by road surfaces in different sizes. This collection is also the vision of a new eco-sustainable urban project, using carbon-negative materials capable of capturing CO2 particles.
Micro-corners of London and New York to inspire a more sustainable future. NY + LON Streets by Interface is an urban-inspired textile flooring collection that includes six products. On the one hand, the street structures in different scales of Wheler Street, Old Street, Dover Street and Reade Street, on the other the unconventional grid of Mercer Street and the contemporary colours of Broome Street.
Those in the collection, however, are corners of “new roads”, manufactured with carbon-negative materials which at the end of their life cycle are with zero emissions, thanks to their capability of imprisoning CO2 particles.
The Interface’s iCQuest Bio support, in fact, is a non-vinyl and non-bituminous product, made with a biocomposite based on fillers of biological origin and recycled materials. The total content of recycled materials and bio-based content is around 88% for all products.
For Interface, therefore, these collections are a new chapter of the Carbon Neutral Floors program that characterizes the sustainable evolution of the company we talked about in a previous article.
